Robert Shaw Piedmont Triad Farmers Market is one of four state-owned farmers markets owned and operated by the NCDA & CS. The Piedmont Triad Farmers Market is open year round, and is host to 1.7 million guests annually. The atmosphere here at the Market is just like being "down on the farm." You can purchase directly from the grower. The PTFM has been designed to be a place where growers of all sizes can come to sell their fresh fruits and vegetables. We provide clean, safe facilities for growers, retailers, and consumers to sell and buy horticultural commodities and food products.
Market Shoppes open year round. Moose Cafe open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. A.B. Seed Garden Center is also on site and open 7 days a week.
The freshness, quality and variety of horticultural crops grown by N.C. farmers cannot be beat. Our farmers produce 21 major vegetable and fruit crops throughout the state. In addition, products from N.C. nurseries, greenhouses, Christmas tree farms, and turf grass and sod growers are available throughout the year or in season. Also, you can find a variety of North Carolina-produced meats, cheeses, wines and specialty foods available year round.
